Please join us for a hike into the hills of Sai Kung on the Cheung Sheung Trail. You need to be reasonably fit, as there is a 300m climb. Mostly shaded walk. Good views from Maclehose section 3 if it is a clear day.
Stop off for To Fu Fa at Chueng Sheung Campsite.

Stop-off for Packed Snacks or To Fu Fa at Cheung Sheung Campsite
Beautiful views across 3 Fathom's Cove and Ma On Shan humpbacks.
Logistics:
Meeting Point & Place: 1.30pm at Sai Kung Waterfront Park, adjacent to the public toilets.
We will leave Sai Kung on the KMB 94 bus to our trail head.
Host Maureen will be at the Meeting Point : 61281366 (SMS only, WhatsApp until RSVP closes, no phone calls)
Hike Description: KMB 94 to Hoi Ha/Pak Tam Rd junction> Hoi Ha Rd> Cheung Sheung Country Trail> Cheung Sheung> Mac Trail 3> bike trail> Pak Tam Chung.
Important Hike Details
Total distance: 9.0 km
Total Ascent: 280m (Moderate Climb from the start. Quite a few stairs)
Pace: Easy walking pace with breaks for rest and photos.
Estimated Time: 3-3.5 hours from trail head - finish about 5.00pm
Surface: Paved.
Bring: 2L Water/ Energy drinks; snacks; hat; insect repellent; valid travel
documents; Weatherproof Jacket; Mobile Phone/Camera
Octopus or Cash for Bus.
Snacks/Drinks: We may be able to enjoy a stop for To Fo Fa, green bean soup etc. and drinks
available at Cheung Sheung but this is not guaranteed - do bring enough drinks and a snack.
