The walk is around 15 kms on concrete and tarmac paths and fairly well - made tracks, with extensive but moderate inclines. It will take about 4 hours of walking.
We will walk through Tuen Mun Park and visit the small but well stocked Reptile House. We then catch a bus to So Kwun Wat. The route passes a Tin Hau temple and we proceed up to one of the dams of the Tai Lam Chung Reservoir and on up to the Reservoir Islands Viewpoint at around 240m elevation. The main group will return by the same route. Overall rating: Easy/Moderate.
