To celebrate the third day of Chinese New Year and welcome the Year of the Horse, we will enjoy an easy afternoon hike. We will take in great vistas over Victoria Harbour from the viewing “balcony’, take in the pretty rosy carpeted hills flowering with Chinese New Year bells, and enjoy a stop-off to enjoy a prehistoric creature; the Dinosaur Rock.
We will walk over from Quarry Bay MTR Station to Mount Parker Road, where we will walk up the road to the junction to join the Hong Pak Country Trail. We will walk along the dirt trail and enjoy the views, stopping to enjoy the 'instagrammable' rock formations. Then we will descend from the country trail and exit at Grieg Road towards Tai Koo MTR station and public buses.
